After more than two decades of partnership with the architects Jordi Bosch and Joan Tarrús, in 1998 Santiago Vives founded a new office for architecture.

As ЅVArquitectura, today we are part of a multidisciplinary network of professionals and specialised companies. We share an extended and stable experience of cooperation to develop specific jobs.

This flexible structure enables us to face projects of great complexity and large scales, adapting the profile and capacity of the team to the needs of each project.

Always in direct contact with our partners and highly qualified specialists, we coordinate the development of the projects to ensure optimal quality of the final product.

The completed work comprises more than one hundred projects that testify the extensive experience achieved in a variety of different professional fields. Over twenty projects of restoration and rehabilitation of historic buildings provided profound knowledge of traditional construction techniques, their pathologies and methods of conservation.

At the new building projects we also aim to apply an attitude of continuous innovation, based on the industrialization, the development of building technologies and cultural progress.

In terms of typological criteria our experience ranges from building projects such as schools and universities, cultural and social facilities, health centres and public spaces to urban planning and all types of residential buildings.

To a large extent, we develop projects for public clients, represented by the different organs of state administration like city councils, ministries and promoters. At the same time we carry out mainly residential and corporate projects commissioned by private promoters.

The intervention scale ranges from single family housing to large estates and facilities. ЅVArquitectura operates all project phases from the previous exploration, feasibility studies, conceptualization, legal permits, budget control, construction and contract documentation to execution management.

The quality of our work has been repeatedly recognized and many projects have been awarded and published in exhibitions and publications.
